Digital Media Outlook report cites IGA Worldwide as the ‘Breakout Company of 2006’
IGA Worldwide, the market leader of in-game advertising, has been recognised as the ‘Breakout Company of 2006’ by the influential Digital Media Outlook report published by Avenue A/Razorfish, the US’ largest interactive marketing and technology services firm.
The recognition is based on a survey of the Avenue A/Razorfish media team with the results published at http://www.avenuea-razorfish.com/points.htm. The report states, “The buzz around in-game advertising continues to build. Respected competitor Massive Inc. often gets more attention, but IGA Worldwide impresses.”
“Online gaming has quickly grown from a closed circuit male teen activity to one embraced by the masses, and advertising dollars are beginning to follow,” said Jeff Lanctot, vice-president and general manager of Avenue A/Razorfish. “IGA Worldwide has emerged as one of the leaders in a hot area for marketing exploration in 2006 and beyond.”
“It’s great to achieve recognition from our peers in the advertising arena affirming our impressive in-game advertising offering,” said Justin Townsend, CEO of IGA Worldwide.
“As a breakout business, we are creating a workable vision with a value proposition that is clear and covers all the important bases, including fully harnessing the energies of a top management team. Taken together, these practices constitute our breakout strategy,” added Townsend.
